Albert Delano Bigner passed away on Saturday, October 14, 2017, at his home in Springfield, Louisiana at the age of 80.  He was born on March 27, 1937 in Hammond, Louisiana.  He was a great husband, father, and pawpaw who will be deeply missed by all.  

Albert is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Peggy Jane Cullum Bigner; three sons, Albert Deano Bigner and wife Pam, Alan Glenn Bigner and wife Laura, and Bruce Bigner; one daughter, Janet Morgan Threeton and husband Jarhett; sister, Margaret Williams; brother, Jesse Bigner and wife Hannelore; six grandchildren, Donna Bigner, Tina Stuprich, Jennifer Scallan and her husband LaMarca "Mark", Christopher Bigner and his wife Faith, Eric Bigner, and Lauren Otis and her husband Glenn; eleven great-grandchildren; brother-in-laws, John Cullum, and Robert Cullum and his wife Micaleen "Mimi"; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his youngest son, John Gary Bigner; parents, Ray and Lottie Bigner; brother, John Hugh Bigner and wife Jeanne Bigner; two sisters, Minnie Cullum, and Betty Ruth Bigner Purvis and her husband Jessie Monroe Purvis; and son-in-law, Willie "Buddy" Morgan.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, Hammond, 2000 N. Morrison Blvd, Hammond, Louisiana 70401, on Saturday, November 4, 2017 from 11:00 am until the Memorial Service at 1:00 pm.  

In lieu of flowers the family requests that any donations can be made on Mr. Albert's behalf to a charity of your choice.
