Albert L. Motichek, Jr., age 79, of Ponchatoula, Louisiana, passed away on Sunday, September 20, 2020 at his home with his family by his side.  He was born on October 6, 1940, in Madisonville, Louisiana to Albert L. Motichek, Sr., and Estelle Fredrick Motichek.  Albert was a member of the Cutover Hunting Club in Kentwood for 30 years. He was retired from Trinity Industries in Madisonville. Albert enjoyed life and loved hunting and fishing, but he especially loved spending time with his family.

Albert is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Delores Bennett Motichek; his sons, Allen Motichek and David Motichek, his daughter, Charlotte Motichek (Brenda Kirkwood), his grandchildren, Joshua Motichek and his wife Melinda, Bryan Motichek and his wife Tami and Kaitlyn Barron and her husband Steven, his great grandchildren, Chloe Motichek, Aubree motichek, Steven Barron, Emmalyn Barron, Danielle Motichek, Jackson Motichek and Zoey Gaudet, 3 step grandchildren and 6 step great grandchildren, his brother Nolan Motichek and his nephew Glenn Motichek and his wife Kathy.  

Albert was preceded in death by his parents, Albert L. Motichek, Sr., and Estelle Fredrick Motichek, and his aunt, Alma Motichek, his uncle, Andrew Motichek and his nephew, Randy Motichek.

A Visitation for Albert will be held on Wednesday, September 23, 2020 from 9:00 am until 12:00 pm at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Ponchatoula. A Funeral Service Celebrating Albert's Life will immediately follow visitation at 12:00 pm in the funeral home chapel. Entombment will follow at Rosaryville Cemetery in Ponchatoula.
