Alice Inez Arnold Hoyt, 74 years old of Ponchatoula, Louisiana, passed away on Friday, March 30, 2018, at North Oaks Medical Center. She was born on Sunday, August 1, 1943, in Hammond, Louisiana to Arthur and Hazel Inez Robinson Arnold. Alice enjoyed life and loved to sew, making quilts for all the kids and family, collecting lighthouses, cooking, collecting recipes, baking and decorating cakes, watching HGTV, but she especially loved spending time with her grand kids and family.
Alice is survived by her loving husband of 53 yrs, Richard Hoyt, Sr., her children, Richard Hoyt , Jr. and his wife Kimberly, Alana H. Anderson and her husband Trent and Cecil Hoyt and his wife Emily, her grandchildren, Richard Hoyt III, Robert Hoyt II and his wife Kimberly, Ryan Hoyt and his wife Amanda, Rachel Hoyt, Skyler Tracy, Spencer Brown, Raider Anderson, Greer Cecilia "CiCi" Anderson, Mason, August and Jackson Hoyt, her great grandsons, Ashton Hoyt and Mason Hoyt, Jr., also many nieces, nephews and close friends.
Alice is preceded in death by parents, Arthur and Hazel Inez Robinson Arnold, her grandson, Brad Louis Hurd, her sisters, Arlene Arnold and Annette Jones and her brother, Arthur Arnold, Jr..
A Visitation for Alice will be held on Wednesday, April 4, 2018 from 6:00pm until 9:00pm and resume on Thursday, April 5, 2018 from 10:00am until 12:00pm at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Ponchatoula.
A Funeral Service Celebrating Alice's Life will immediately follow Thursday's visitation at 12:00pm in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Parklawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Hammond.
