Annie “Lucille” McKinney Parsons, age 85, of Springfield, Louisiana, passed away on Tuesday, August 13, 2019, at Pontchartrain Healthcare in Mandeville. She was born on Monday, July 2, 1934, in Livingston Parish,Louisiana, to William Andrew and Annie Ione Hutchinson McKinney. Lucille was a member of the Blood River Church of God. She enjoyed life and loved gardening, cooking entertaining family and friends, playing cards and drinking coffee, but she especially loved spending time with her family. 

Lucille is survived by her daughter, Glenda Parsons Lindsey (Donald); her son, Steve Parsons (Betty); her grandchildren, Leighton Lindsey, Rusty Lindsey (Alicia), David Lindsey, Celeste Prosperie (Chris), Troy Parsons (Ravien), Paula Kreutzer (Pee Wee), Matthew St. Cyr (Jessica), and Hunter St. Cyr (Ashley), many great grandchildren, her sisters, Faye Patterson (Bradley), Mildred Salassi and Lois Naretta and her brother, Bryant “Lokie” McKinney, also many nieces, nephews and close friends. 

Lucille is preceded in death by her parents, William Andrew and Annie Ione Hutchinson McKinney, her husband, Jack Lewis Parsons, her daughter, Brenda Fay Parsons; her sisters, Cindy Edwards,Mary Jane Edwards, Myrtle McKinney and Joyce Neal. 

A Visitation for Lucille will beheld on Friday, August 16, 2019 from 9:00 am until 11:00 am at the Blood River Church of God in Springfield. A Funeral Service Celebrating Lucille's Life will immediately follow visitation at 11:00 am in the church. Interment will follow at Carter Cemetery in Springfield.
