Anthony Leroy Murray, age 50, of Loranger, Louisiana, passed away on Saturday, September 19, 2020, at North Oaks Medical Center in Hammond. He was born on Thursday, June 11, 1970, in New Orleans, Louisiana, to Anthony Albrecht and Janice Potter. Anthony loved working on cars and was a master mechanic, he enjoyed life and also loved basketball, fishing, mud riding with his daughter Nichole, but he especially loved spending time with his family.
Anthony is survived by his daughter, Nichole Murray and her fiancé Jeromey Poncedeleon, his son, Richard "Dustin" Young, his wife, Joanne Murray, his grandchildren, Gabrielle Poncedeleon, Justice Poncedeleon, Daniel Poncedeleon, Kailyn Poncedeleon, and Tyler Alva, his brother, Harvey Murray and his wife Tammy, his sisters, Tammy Windecker and her husband Walt, Leslie Tullos and her husband Rudy and Dawn Jordan and her husband Calvin, his father, Anthony Albrecht, also many nieces, nephews and close friends.
Anthony was preceded in death by his mother, Janice Potter, his grandmother, Ella Potter, and his son, Justin Murray.
A Celebrating of Life for Anthony will be held on Saturday, September 26, 2020, beginning at 4:00 pm at New Life Baptist Church, 15499 Wadesboro Rd, in Ponchatoula.
