Anyce Chauvin Lambert passed away on Tuesday, August 15, 2017, in Hammond Louisiana, at the age of 75. She was born on January 9, 1942 in New Orleans, Louisiana, to the late Alden J. Chauvin, Sr. and the late Josephine Szubinski Chauvin.  She was a native of Norco, Louisiana and a resident of Hammond, Louisiana for the past 25 years.

Anyce was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.  She was an avid Elvis fan. She enjoyed crafting, especially painting ceramics and quilting. She enjoyed gardening and decorating her home for any holiday.  Anyce was devoted to her family and loved nothing more than cooking big meals and having family gathered around her. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Hammond.    

Anyce is survived by her devoted husband of 56 years Harry J. Lambert; brother, Alden J. Chauvin, Jr. (Barbara); son, Lyle E. Lambert (Sharon); daughter Lauren L. Becnel (Ellery); grandsons, Matthew T. Becnel and Benjamin J. Becnel as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank Heritage Healthcare Nursing Home in Hammond, Louisiana for their many years of dedicated care of Anyce.  The family would also like to thank Life Source Hospice.

A Funeral Service will be held at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home Chapel Hammond, Louisiana on Friday, August 18, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Rose Memorial Park Mausoleum.
