Arlene “Lynne” Edge, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 14, 2018, at North Oaks Hospital in Hammond at the age of 68. She was born in New Orleans and was a resident of Westwego for 64 years.
Lynne is survived by her mother Earline Marcombe Blount; her husband Clovis W. Edge; her nieces Roxie Mooney, Kristy Blount, and Tasha Sheets; and her great nieces and nephew Alyssa Danos, Dominick Sheets, Kinley Sheets, and Madison Tsafonias.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents Frank Marcombe and Marie Dufrene Marcombe and William Blount and Maude Cotton Blount; her father Huey S. Blount; her brothers William “Scooter” Blount and Robert “Bobby” Blount; and her nephew Josh Blount.
Lynne is also survived by many other family members and friends, whom she cared for deeply and were always an important part of her life.
Family, friends, and others, whose lives Lynne touched, are invited to her memorial service to celebrate her life. This service will be held at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, 100 W. Magnolia St., Ponchatoula from 12pm until the memorial service begins at 1pm on Sunday, February 4, 2018.
