Barbara Ann Dufrene passed away on Thursday, July 6, 2017, at her residence in Amite, Louisiana, at the age of 75. She was born on Friday, May 1, 1942, in Gretna , Louisiana to the late Hilda and Leo Dufrene.
Barbara is survived by her sister, Mollie (Salvadore) Porrovecchio, brother, Warren (Shirley) Dufrene, Sr., brother, Randy (Terri) Dufrene; nieces, Sharon (Toby) Creager, Shana (John) Wells, Sonya (Michael) Meyer, and Dannell (Christie) Dufrene; nephews, Warren (Peggy) Dufrene, Jr., Brent (Mitzi) Dufrene, David (Michelle) Dufrene, Jesse (Chrissie) Dufrene, and Jacob (Courtney) Dufrene. Also survived by numerous great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Hilda Marie Bergeron Dufrene and Leo Paul Dufrene.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Service at the First United Methodist Church of Ponchatoula, 200 E. Pine St., Ponchatoula, Louisiana 70454, on Saturday, July 29, 2017 at 11:00 am.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First United Methodist Church of Ponchatoula at the above address, in Barbara's memory.
