Barbara Jean Murphy, 55 years old of Hammond, Louisiana, passed away Friday, November 24, 2017, at North Oaks Medical Center.
She was born on Saturday, May 19, 1962, in New Orleans, daughter of Catherine Bryant Murphy and the late Richard Larry Murphy.
Surviving are her sons, Richard Murphy, and Ryan Murphy; grandchildren, Shelby Elizabeth Morgan, Maddison Katherine Murphy, Gabriel Michael Murphy, mother, Catherine Bryant Murphy, and her sister, Sheila Kulick.
She is preceded in death by her niece, Danielle Kulick, and nephew, Jason Kulick.
Friends will be received on Tuesday, November 28, 2017 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Hammond.
A Memorial Service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Tuesday at 8:00 pm.
