Betty Jane Anthony, 72 years old of Folsom, Louisiana, passed away on Saturday, December 8, 2018, at Belle Maison Nursing Home in Hammond. She was born on Saturday, August 10, 1946, in Independence, Louisiana to John Elige and Estelle Bennett Granger.
Betty is survived by her sons, Roy Lynn Anthony and his wife Anita, Darren Kenneth Anthony and his wife Donna and Jeremy David Anthony and his wife Michelle, her grandchildren, Jonathan Lynn, Kimberly Daniell, Chase Michael and Mason David Anthony, 2 great grandchildren, her sisters, Mary Furca and Margie Bankston,
Betty is preceded in death by her parents, John Elige and Estelle Bennett Granger, her husband, Leonard Anthony, her brothers, James Granger, Wilford Granger, John Granger, Ernie A. Granger, Kenneth Wayne Granger, Ray Anthony Granger, Wiley and Martin Goynes and her sister, Dorothy Lee.
A Visitation for Betty will be held on Tuesday, December 11, 2018 from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm and continue on Wednesday, December 12, 2018 from 8:00 am until 10:00am at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Hammond. A Funeral Service Celebrating Betty's Life will immediately follow visitation at 10:00 am in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Neal Cemetery in Folsom.
