Bruce Henry Ford departed this life on Sunday, December 9, 2018, in St. Tammany, Louisiana, at the age of 73. He was born on Wednesday, February 21, 1945 in Amite, Louisiana to the late Eloise Cleveland and the late Henry Ezel Ford. He was a resident of Ponchatoula, Louisiana. Bruce entered the Army at 18 years old in 1965, where he was an E5 sergeant with the unit Big Red One. He was the recipient of a Purple Heart. Bruce is now with the Lord, and is healed, whole, and restored.
Bruce is survived by his wife of 35 years, Kathy Ford; sister, Linda Davis (Bungalow); brother, Millard Ford (Mildred); sons, James, Dwayne, and Michael Ford (Katrina) and Todd Castiglia; daughter, Glenda Hebert (Will Pearl); granddaughters, Megan and Kailyn Ford; grandsons, Steven Lemartiniere, Cody and Clint Hebert, Mason Ford, Markus Santamaria, and Landon Ford; great-granddaughter, Lillith Brewer; and numerous other family members.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Jason Ford and his sister, Dianne Ford.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Visitation at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Ponchatoula, Louisiana, on Wednesday, December 12, 2018 beginning at 9:00 AM until 1:00 PM. The Funeral Service will begin at 1:00 PM.
Interment will follow in Ford Family Cemetery in Loranger, Louisiana.
