Cecile Dugas Ellenberger passed away on Monday, August 12, 2019, in Hammond, Louisiana, at the age of 94. She was born on Sunday, June 28, 1925 to the late Alice Babin and the late Louis Dugas Jr.. She was a resident of Ponchatoula, Louisiana.
Cecile is survived by her husband, Rudolph Ellenberger; daughters, Jeannette Kirby (Mike), Brenda Alfano (Vince), Darlene Tallo (Bobby), and Cecilia Sacra (Duane); sons, Bradford Ellenberger (Mary Lou), Cecil Ellenberger (Belinda), Rudolph Ellenberger, Jr. (Diane); 13 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Cecile is preceded in death by her son, Richard Ellenberger; son-in-law, Bobby Tallo; and daughter-in-law, Mary Lou Ellenberger.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation for Cecile on Monday, August 19, 2019, at Harry McKneely and Son Funeral Home, 2000 N Morrison Boulevard, Hammond, Louisiana 70401, beginning with a Rosary at 6:00 PM until 6:30 PM, after which the visitation will continue until 9:00 PM.
