Charles Benjamin "C.B." Neal, of Albany, Louisiana, passed away on Monday, April 29, 2019, at his home at the age of 75. He was born on March 9, 1944, in Holden, Louisiana, the son of the late Hollis Neal Sr. and Frances Wagner Neal.

C.B. is survived by his fiancée, Danaka Elizabeth Stewart; children, Pamela Stewart (A.J.), Trudi Neal (Brad), Dana Neal, and Kaden Neal; step daughter, ShyAnne Broxton; grandchildren, Seth Neal, Tyler Degenhardt, Amy Stewart, Bethani Neal, Jeffery Neal, Cade Madison, Blake Lindsey, and Brayden Lindsey; great grandchildren, Mason Stewart Craft, Sydney Kilbride, Eli Kuhn, Norah Lorio, and Willow Lorio; siblings, Hollis Neal Jr., Roy Neal, Ronny Neal, Mamie Lou Starkey, Shirley Laughery, Rosemary Locandro, and Betty Coelho; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, C.B. was preceded in death by his son, Charles Jeffrey Neal, and grandson, Trent Benjamin Stewart.

The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the staff of New Century Hospice, and caregiver, Kay Kay Williams for their compassionate care.

Family and friends will be received at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, 2000 N. Morrison Blvd Hammond, Louisiana 70401, on Thursday, May 2, 2019, from 10:00 am until the funeral service begins at 12:00 pm.

Interment will follow at Old Zion Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Independence, Louisiana.
