Charlie Scafidel passed away on Thursday, January 11, 2018, in Jackson, Louisiana, at the age of 93. He was born on Tuesday, June 17, 1924 in Natalbany, Louisiana to the late Matilda Jones Scafidel and the late Ben W. Scafidel. He was a resident of Loranger, Louisiana.
Charlie is survived by his daughter, Judith Scafidel Gaubert and husband Glen; granddaughter, Angela Guidry and husband Todd; and great-grandchildren, C.J. Boice and Payton Boice.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Audrey Bush Scafidel; father, Ben W Scafidel; mother, Matilda Jones Scafidel; brothers, Elmore, Tony, Ed, Ben, Phillip, Kelly, and Russell Scafidel and Willie Scivicque; and two sisters, Mary May and Annie Rimes.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service at Natalbany Baptist Church, 48024 Parsonage Rd., Natalbany, Louisiana 70451, on Monday, January 15, 2018 at 11:00 am. Visitation will be held on Monday, January 15, 2018, from 9:00 am until 11:00 am.
Interment will follow in Oak Grove Church of God Cemetery, Loranger, Louisiana.
