Constance Rasberry Yent passed away on Friday, February 10, 2017, in , Amite, Louisiana at the age of 94. She was born on Sunday, August 20, 1922, in Ville Platte, Louisiana. She was a native of Evangeline Parish and a resident of Ponchatoula, Louisiana. She was the best Mother and Friend you could have.
Constance is survived by her sons, Michael C. Yent (Flordia), Lindon P. Yent (Hillsdale), Roy E. Yent (Ponchatoula), and Kenneth Yent (Livingston); daughter, Priscilla Yent Reno (Manchac); step-daughter, Barbara Yent Cox (Bruly); 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William "Bill" Yent; parents, Alma & Wilbur Rasberry; four sisters, Vance Petrell, Murl Gremillion, Vida Gautreaux, and Nathalie Irwin; and grandson, Alan Michael Yent.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home - Ponchatoula , 100 W. Magnolia St., Ponchatoula, Louisiana 70454, on Monday, February 13, 2017 from 9:00 am until the funeral service at 12:00 pm. Interment will follow in Wetmore Cemetery, Ponchatoula, Louisiana.
