Cordelia Brunett Addison Thomas was born September 16, 1933 and went home to be with the Lord on July 15, 2019 at 9:25 AM at her daughters home in Husser, Louisiana.  She was surrounded by family, her personal treasures, and her beloved dog, Lucky-Taco.  She was 85 years old and retired from Bell South after 40 years of service. She was past President and lifetime member of the Telephone Pioneers with her best friend, the late Lou Fitzmorris of Ponchatoula, Louisiana.  The members sold and distributed Pots, Pans, and Pioneer cook books; donated telephone head sets to disabled children; and donated to schools, libraries, and numerous charities.  She was an active member of Holy Ghost Catholic Church in Hammond, Louisiana, and St. Dominic Catholic Church in Husser, Louisiana.

Cordelia is survived by her son, Brad Addison (Terry), of Albany, Louisiana; daughter, Kimberly Addison Corkern of Husser, Louisiana; three grandsons, Preston Brady Addison of Albany, Louisiana, Rowdy Chance Fitzgerald of Theodore, Alabama, and Chad Addison Corkern (fiancée, Christen), of Beaverton, Oregon; great-grandson, Cayden Lane Fitzgerald of Theodore, Alabama; brothers, Louis Elwood Brunett (Doris) of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Melvin Brunett of Hammond Louisiana, Paul Brunett (Rachel) of Husser, Louisiana, Gerald Brunett (Barbara) of Loranger, Louisiana; and one sister, Velma Brunett VanMeter of Hammond, Louisiana.

Cordelia is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Epha Brunett; her first husband, P.I. Addison, the Father of her children; Kenneth Thomas, Jr.; brothers, Jack and Adrian Brunett; sisters Agnes Brunett Durbin, Audrey Brunett Burton, and Rita Brunett Robertson.

Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation for Cordelia on Tuesday, July 23, 2019, at St. Dominic Catholic Church in Husser, Louisiana, from 9:00 AM until the funeral mass begins at 11:30 AM.

Pallbearers for Cordelia will be her three grandsons; her great-grandson; Kelcy Himel, Jr.; Troy Brunett; Ron Johnson; and Dr. Brian LeBlanc.

Interment will follow in St. Dominic Catholic Church Cemetery, Husser, Louisiana.
