Craig Anthony Pavageau, 63 years old of Ponchatoula, Louisiana, passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side on Wednesday, May 23, 2018. He was born on Wednesday, November 3, 1954, in New Orleans, Louisiana to Lovell L. and Elsie T. Pavageau. Craig served our country proudly in the US Navy. He was a very happy man who loved life and was quite the philosopher. Craig loved hanging with his friends, making his own beer and bread and was a coffee connoisseur, he also loved to read and being outdoors, but he especially loved spending time with his family. 

Craig is survived by his loving wife, Veronica D Pavageau, his daughter, Eva Pape and her husband Jason, his sons, Luke A. Pavageau and his wife Glenda and Craig B Pavageau, Sr., his grandchildren, Elayne V. Pape, Jay G. Pape, Ethyn A. Pape, Gabriel Pavageau, Mina Pavageau, Ariana M. Pavageau, Craig B. Pavageau, Jr., Cameron Pavageau, Blayze T. Pavageau and Olivia R. Pavageau, his brother, James Pavageau and his sister, Susan Denneau, also many nieces, nephews and close friends. 

Craig is preceded in death by his parents, Lovell L. and Elsie T. Pavageau and his brother, Gene Pavageau. 

A Visitation for Craig will be held on Monday, May 28, 2018 from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm and continue Tuesday, May 29, 2018 from 9:00 am until 10:30 am at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Ponchatoula. We will proceed at 10:45 am from the funeral home to St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Ponchatoula for an 11:00 am Funeral Mass Celebrating Craig's Life. Entombment will follow at Rosaryville Cemetery in Ponchatoula.
