Daisy Theresa Triche Arvello passed away on Sunday, December 1, 2019, in Hammond, Louisiana, at the age of 90. She was born on Thursday, October 17, 1929 in Montz, Louisiana to the late Dennis and Margaret Wimprine Triche. She was a resident of Hammond, Louisiana.
Daisy was a member of the Hammond American Legion Auxiliary Unit 156 and the Hammond Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary to Post 3652, as well as a member of the Rosary Altar Society.
Daisy is survived by her children, Paula Arvello Joiner (Jerry), Michael Arvello, Debbie Arvello, Danny Arvello, and Angel Arvello; and grandson, David Merriman.
In addition to her parents, Daisy was also preceded in death by her husband, Paul Daniel Arvello; brother, Joseph Gly Triche; and sisters, Norma Jean Triche Madere, Helen Triche Richoux Weber, and Verlyn Mae Triche.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation on Thursday, December 5, 2019, at Harry McKneely and Son Funeral Home in Hammond, 2000 N Morrison Boulevard, Hammond, Louisiana 70401, beginning at 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM. The Rosary will be recited at 7:00 PM. The visitation will continue the following day, Friday, December 6, 2019, at Holy Ghost Catholic Church, 600 N Oak Street, Hammond, Louisiana 70401, beginning at 9:00 AM until the funeral mass begins at 11:00 AM.
Interment will follow in Rose Memorial Park Cemetery, Hammond, Louisiana.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the American Heart Association.
