David Frederick Pluemer passed away on Sunday, May 28, 2017, in Hammond, Louisiana, at the age of 86. He was born on Tuesday, May 19, 1931 in LaCrosse, Wisconsin to the late Ida Pluemer and the late Norman Pluemer. He was a resident of Hammond, Louisiana.
David is survived by his daughters, Sharon Pluemer Patel and Nancy Pluemer Mercante and her husband Vincent; sons, David Scott Pluemer and his wife Brenda, and Bruce Nelson Pluemer and his wife Sue; 16 grandchildren; and 19 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Norman Pluemer; mother, Ida Pluemer; wife, Barbara Nelson Pluemer; and daughter, Robin Pluemer Chao.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Ceremony at First Presbyterian Church, 111 N Pine St, Hammond, Louisiana 70401, on Saturday, June 3, 2017 at 11:00 am. Visitation will be held on at the church on Saturday, June 3, 2017, from 10:00 am until 11:00 am.
