David Lee Emery Sr., 59, died peacefully of natural causes in his home Sunday morning, November 11, 2018.
He leaves behind his loving wife, Charlotte, of Hammond, LA; his son David “Lee” Emery, Jr. and his wife Michelle; his granddaughter, Logan; his mother, Barbara Emery Martin; his brother, Arthur Emery; and his beloved dogs.
He is preceded in death by his father, Arthur "Buddy" Emery.
He was a lifelong native of Hammond. He graduated from Hammond High and attended Southeastern University.
David and his wife, Charlotte, founded their successful family business, Battery Depot, in 1993.
Dave’s love of hunting, fishing, boating, cooking, and being with friends was only trumped by his love of his family, and especially of his only granddaughter, Logan.
He will be terribly missed by his family, friends, and everyone who knew him.
A visitation for David will be on Wednesday, November 14, 2018 from 10:00 am until 1:00 pm at Harry McKNeely & Son Funeral Home in Hammond. Followed by a Funeral Service beginning at 1:00 pm. Interment will follow at Rose Memorial Park Cemetery in Hammond, Louisiana.
