Edward “Lee” Miles, Jr., 81 yearsold of Tickfaw, Louisiana, passed away on Saturday, November 3, 2018. He was born on Thursday, August 19, 1937 in Tickfaw, Louisiana, to Edward Lee Miles,Sr. and Mildred Yates Miles. Lee enjoyed life and loved watching football especially LSU and the Saints, raising cows, dairy farming and gardening, but he especially loved spending time with his family.
Lee is survived by his loving wife of 19 years Delmy Castillo Miles, his daughter, Esmeralda Lopez, his sons Lee Miles III and his wife Rochelle, Bruce Miles and his wife Donna, Brad Miles,Omar Lopez and Alex Lopez, his grandchildren, Cassie Sinagra and her husband Darryl, Lee Miles and his wife Paula, Greyson Miles, Amanda Babb and her husband Cody, Laura Wall and her husband Brian, Darryl Miles, Jr., Angela Cooper and her husband Cody, Alison Roubique and Eduardo Calderon, numerous great grandchildren, his sister, Dorothy McCrory, also many nieces, nephews and close friends.
Lee was preceded in death by his parents, Edward Lee Miles, Sr. and Mildred Yates Miles, his sisters, Audrey Smith, Sybil Sibley and Ola Myers.
A Visitation for Lee will be held on Tuesday, November 6, 2018 from 10:00am to 12:00 pm at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Hammond. A Funeral Service Celebrating Lee’s Life will immediately follow visitation at 12:00pm in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery in Tickfaw.
