Edwin M. "Buddy" Tucker, Sr. passed away peacefully at his residence in Tickfaw, LA on Tuesday, August 1, 2017, at the age of 84. He was born on Tuesday, August 23, 1932 in Ponchatoula, Louisiana to the late Beatrice Fannaly Tucker and Edwin Spencer Tucker.
Buddy is survived by his beloved wife of 59 years, Rosie Manina Tucker; son, Edwin M. Tucker, Jr. and his wife, Patti; daughter, Sherry Lemay and her husband, Michael; daughter, Linda Tregre and her husband, Louie; and daughter, Sandra Hawkins and her husband, Mark; grandchildren, Maegann Tucker (fiancé Brett), Dawn (Robert) Fugarino, Marcy (Doug) Jones, Christopher (Candace) Lemay, Hailey Lemay, Jennifer (Sam) Sparacello, Louie Tregre, III, Anthony Hawkins, and Jordan Hawkins; and great-grandchildren, Bailey & Brennan Fugarino, Addison & Tucker Jones, Jayden & Brody Lemay, and Riley & Reese Sparacello. Also survived by many nieces and nephews and special family friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Beatrice and Edwin Tucker; one sister, Gloria Heitman; and his grandson, Matthew Hawkins.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Visitation in the chapel of Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, 2000 N. Morrison Blvd., Hammond, Louisiana on Wednesday, August 2, 2017, from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm and Thursday, August 3, 2017 from 8:00 am until 10:30 am.
A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at Our Lady of Pompeii Catholic Church, 14450 Hwy 442, Tickfaw, Louisiana 70466, on Thursday, August 3, 2017 at 11:00 am.
Interment will be held in Pompeii Cemetery, Tickfaw, Louisiana.
