Emerine Jordan passed away on Sunday, June 4, 2017, in Hammond, Louisiana, at the age of 86. She was born on Saturday, May 16, 1931 in Hammond, Louisiana to the late May Belle Bigner Jordan and Joseph Henry Jordan. She was a resident of Hammond, Louisiana.
Emerine is survived by her sister, Grace Pierce and her husband, James and her sister, Helen J. Bennett and her husband, Leonard. Also survived by 9 nieces and nephews and many great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, May Belle Bigner Jordan and Joseph Henry Jordan, Sr.; two brothers, Lucious Jordan and Joseph Jordan, Jr.; two sisters, Carolyn Williams and Marilyn Jordan; and step sister, Isabelle Eren.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Graveside Service at New Beulah Cemetery, Hwy 190, Baptist, Louisiana on Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at 1:00 pm.
