Eva Lois Smith entered into eternal peace on Wednesday, September 13, 2017, in Hammond, LA, at the age of 66. She was born on Wednesday, July 25, 1951 in Denham Springs, LA to the late Ruby Hutchinson Erwin and the late Bill Erwin. She was a resident of Hammond, Louisiana.
Eva is survived by her daughter, Angie (Richard) Fletcher; son, Eric Smith; siblings, Katie Morgan, Margaret Watts, Marie Smith, and J.R. Erwin; grandchildren, Tiffany Courtney, Cassie (Ryan) Comardelle, and Ashley Richardson; great-grandchildren, Jason Courtney, Jr., Sophie Parker, and Trent Richardson; and extended family and friends
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Bill Smith; daughter, Joanna Smith; brother, Bill Erwin; father, Bill Erwin; and mother, Ruby Hutchinson Erwin.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Ceremony at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home 100 W. Magnolia St., Ponchatoula, Louisiana 70454, on Sunday, September 17, 2017 at 1:00 pm. Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 17, 2017, 10:00 am until 1:00 pm.
Interment will follow in Hutchinson Cemetery, Tickfaw, Louisiana.
