Evelyn Ruth Potter Williams passed away on Saturday, April 29, 2017, surrounded by her family, in Hammond, Louisiana, at the age of 61. She was born on Thursday, April 5, 1956 in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Evelyn is survived by her husband, Lonnie Williams; three sons & their wives, Lonnie & Julia Williams, Charles & Bambi Williams, and Ronald & Melissa Williams; three daughters & their husbands, Tonya W. & Mark Breland, Paulette Williams & Nicholas Nienstedt, and Betty Williams & Richard Ramos; sister, Brenda Champagne and brother, Henry Potter. Also survived by 30 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jeanette and Charles Potter; sister, Betty Sims; and brother, Arthur Ray Potter.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service at the Amite Pentecostal Church, 14054 Highway 16, Amite, Louisiana 70422, on Monday, May 1, 2017 at 2:00 pm. Visitation will begin at 10:00 am at the church and continue until the service time of 2:00 pm.
Interment will follow in Williams Family Cemetery, Franklinton, Louisiana.
