Fines Pierre Baham, 89 years of age of Folsom, Louisiana, passed away on Saturday, May 6, 2017 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born on October 1, 1927, in Robert, LA, daughter of the late John Vincent Pierre and the late Delphine Baham Pierre. Fines and her husband Dave were dairy farmers for over 25 years.  Fines became a Licensed Practical Nurse at the age of 52 and worked at Hammond Developmental Center for 20 years until she retired at the age of 72.  She was a strong Christian woman and a member of Lee Valley Baptist Church in Loranger since 1942. Surviving are her daughters, Jeanette Baham Wood, and Louise Baham Lanier; grandchildren, Faron, Melissa, Tiffany, Brandie, and Rocky; 9 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandson, Layton; sister, Victoria P. Reyer; brother, Joseph L. Pierre; daugther-in-law, Lavone C. Baham; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dave H. Baham; son, Vincent H. Baham; her parents, John and Delphine Pierre; sisters, Hazel Lewis, Vinie Reid, and Verlie Pierre; and 1 infant brother. Friends will be received on Wednesday, May 10, 2017 from 10:00 am until the Funeral Service begins at 1:00 pm at Lee Valley Baptist Church, 27013 Reid Rd. in Loranger.
