Frances Cardinale Cicet
On a bright sun shining day, God sent his angels to claim the soul of our beloved Frances Cardinale Cicet. Frances was born in Hammond, Louisiana on April 18, 1932 and passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, November 10, 2020 at the age of 88 years old. She was recognized by many names - Mom, Aunt Frances, Aunt Chick and Nan just to name a few. She worked in the car dealership industry for many years. Frances then went to work for SLU and retired after 20 years of service. She was an avid member of Holy Ghost Catholic Church where she served as a lector and Eucharistic minister. Frances was a member of the Catholic Daughters of America court #2050 where she served as Treasurer, Assistant Regent and Regent. She was also a member of the Rosary Alter Society and served as Treasurer. The Holy Ghost community will miss her service, dedication and love of helping others.
She is survived by her daughters, Jerri Ann Cicet of Walker, LA and Judy Marie Rogers of Gulfport, MS (Rex), her grandsons, Charles (Chuck) Rogers of Gulfport, MS and Kevin Rogers of TN, her great grand daughters, Madison Rogers and Jordyn Rogers of TN and her caregiver and niece, Laura Atkins King and many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will be received at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, 2000 N. Morrison Blvd, Hammond, Louisiana 70401 on Thursday, November 12, 2020 from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm. Visitation will continue on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m., in the funeral home chapel.
A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00 am on Friday, November 13, 2020 at Holy Ghost Catholic Church, 600 North Oak Street, Hammond, Louisiana 70401
Interment will follow at Rose Memorial Park Cemetery in Hammond, Louisiana.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Holy Ghost Catholic Church building fund.
Face masks are mandatory to attend any visitation or service at the funeral home and we ask that you maintain a respectful distance with the family. Thank you for your cooperation
