Frank Joseph Lipps Jr. passed away on Thursday, August, 24, 2017 at the age of 76. He was born on June 24th 1941 to the late Frank Lipps Sr. and Edith Duplessis Mercier. He was a life long resident of Ponchatoula, Louisiana.
Frank is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Beverly Jones Lipps; daughter, Monique Thornton and her fiancé Faron Gleason; daughter, Paige Brown and her husband Gary; son Joshua Lipps and his wife Tasha Cooper; grandchildren, Taylor Thornton, Kyle Brown, Zachary Thornton, Sydney Brown, Olivia Thornton, Josie Lipps; great grand daughter; Ezra Rose Thornton Keen; sister, Patricia Magee; nephew Steve Magee and his wife Sheri and great nephew Justin Magee; nephew Ron Magee and wife Zoe and their son Reed. Other brothers and sisters, Bobby Serigny and wife Cathy; Frances Johnson and husband Eddie; Joe Lipps; Louis Lipps and Sharon Blanchard; Sandy Mayer; Pete Lipps and wife Roslyn; Shelia Morgan and husband Bob and all of their children and loved ones.
Frank was an amazing human being. He never met a stranger and all that knew him loved him. The world will be a little sadder without him in it but Heaven just got a little brighter. He will be forever missed and loved.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation in the the chapel of Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, 100 W. Magnolia Street Ponchatoula, Louisiana 70454 on Sunday August 27, 2017 from 6pm to 9 p.m. Funeral Service will be on Monday August 28, 2017 at 10 am at the same location. Interment will follow in the Ponchatoula Cemetery.
