Fred Cutrer, Jr. passed away on Thursday, September 28, 2017, in Ponchatoula, Louisiana, at the age of 89. He was born on Saturday, September 22, 1928 in Roseland, Louisiana to the late Jewel Mixon and the late Fred Cutrer Sr. He was a resident of Ponchatoula, Louisiana.
Fred is survived by his beloved family: daughter, Trudy Cutrer Boudreaux and husband Paul; sons, Audie R. Cutrer and Stephen "Andy" Cutrer and wife Lisa; daughter-in-law, Connie Hill Cutrer; "Pappy" to his grandchildren, Jason D. Cutrer, Peyton J. Boudreaux and Elizabeth M. Cutrer; step-grandchildren, Matthew Wells, Josh Holmes, Karla Holmes, and Kayla LaFleur; great grandchildren, Kaylie Cutrer and Holden Cutrer; and step great-grandchildren, Chloe, Avery, and Eli Moore, and Laiken and Beau Wells.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 55 years, Clotilde Sue Bahm Cutrer; son, Ronald Cutrer; father, Fred Cutrer, Sr.; and mother, Jewel Mixon Hughes.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service in the chapel of Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, 100 W. Magnolia St., Ponchatoula, Louisiana 70454, on Monday, October 2, 2017 at 12:00 pm. Visitation will begin at 10:00 am and continue until 12:00 pm.
Interment will follow in Arcola-Roseland Cemetery, Roseland, Louisiana.
