On Thursday, November 15, 2018, loving husband, father, and grandfather passed away at 60 years of age.
Gary is survived by his wife, Jacquelyn Johnson - Mosbey; his children Scott Mosbey, Chad Mosbey, Kristi Mosbey, and Joshua Mosbey; as well as, his step-children Shannon, Edwin, Justin, and Larry. He is also survived by his seven grandchildren, Charlie - O, Jacob, Anthony, Chloe, Jack, Natalie, and Nathan; and his siblings Calvin Mosbey, Diane Raymond, Jean Mosbey, Jim Mosbey, and Debbie Farrell.
Gary was preceded in death by his father, Melvin "Mike" Mosbey Sr.; mother, Janice Mosbey; and his brother, Melvin "Mike" Mosbey Jr.
Gary worked in the same trade of upholstery as his father, Melvin "Mike" Mosbey. Gary loved his children very much and worked hard his entire life. He had a wonderful laugh, huge heart, and would put his foot in anyone's ass that got in his way. He will be remembered for his resilience, fighting spirit, and larger than life dreams. Visitation will held at Harry McKneely and Son Funeral Homes and Crematory 2000 N Morrison Blvd. Hammond, Louisiana on Sunday, November 18, 2018 from 2:00pm until the Celebration of Life Service at 4:00 pm.
