Gladys Anna Sell Simoneaux passed away on Saturday, September 17, 2016, in Hammond, LA, at the age of 90.  She was born on Friday, January 1, 1926, in Chicago, Illinois to the late Anna Konky Sell and John Sell.  She resided in Ponchatoula, Louisiana.

Gladys was truly a loving and generous person who loved her family unconditionally.  She loved Jesus and prayed for her family every day.  "I love you, and God bless you" was her greeting to friends and strangers alike.  She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church. She was also a true Saints fan and enjoyed cheering them on.

Gladys is survived by her three daughters, Theresa Simoneaux, Diane Farmer, and Mary Ann Bardwell and son-in-law Eugene Bardwell;  two sons, Warren Simoneaux, Jr. and Robert Simoneaux; and one sister, Anna Jean Guidry.  Also survived by 6 grandchildren, Billy Farmer, Shawn Farmer, Warren Simoneaux, III., Jeremy Bardwell, Melody Bardwell, and Christina Bardwell; and 8 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Warren Simoneaux, Sr.; her parents, Anna Konky Sell and John Sell; and four brothers, Bob Sell, Dick Sell, John Sell, and Edward Sell.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service in the chapel of Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, 100 W. Magnolia St., Ponchatoula, Louisiana 70454, on Saturday, September 24, 2016 at 11:00 am.  Visitation will begin at 9:00 am and continue until service time.

Interment will follow in Ponchatoula Cemetery.
