Helen Goldean Crawford Delvisco passed away on Sunday, September 17, 2017, at the Carpenter House in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, at the age of 77. She was born on Wednesday, November 15, 1939 in Maryville, Tennessee. She was a resident of Independence, Louisiana, a former John Curtis School bus driver and a retired day care worker.

Helen is survived by her beloved husband, John J. Delvisco, Sr.; her son, John J. Delvisco, Jr., and his wife, Ginger Engeran Delvisco; niece, Linda Parrish; granddaughter, Jennifer Baudier and her husband, Alfred, granddaughter, Mary Catherine Murphy and her husband Chad, and grandson, Edmond Ganucheau, IV; and great-grandchildren, Justin, Kayla, & Emily Baudier, Alexis Messina, and McKenzie Murphy.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Mary Reed Crawford and Elmer P. Hickman; three brothers, Kenneth Crawford, Willie Crawford, and Claude Hickman; and one sister, Cleo Jones.

The Delvisco family extends their gratitude to nurse, Lisa King and to St. Joseph Hospice for their compassionate care.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service in the chapel of Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, 2000 N. Morrison Blvd, Hammond, Louisiana 70401, on Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at 11:00 am. Visitation will begin at 9:00 am and continue until 11:00 am.

Interment will follow in Colonial Cemetery Mausoleum, Independence, Louisiana.
