Ida May Peco Langston passed away on Friday, September 22, 2017, in Hammond, Louisiana, at the age of 79. She was born on Wednesday, November 10, 1937 in Hammond, Louisiana and she was a lifelong resident of Hammond.
Ida May is survived by her son, Jimmy Dale Langston; brother, Victor B. Peco and his wife, Nickie; sister, Frances Alack; and brother, Albert B. Peco and his wife, Antoinette. Also survived by several grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Melvin Langston; and her parents, Fannie Monistere Peco and Ben V. Peco.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Ghost Catholic Church, 601 North Oak Street, Hammond, Louisiana 70401, on Tuesday, September 26, 2017 at 11:00 am. Visitation will be held at church from 9:00 am until 11:00 am.
Interment will follow in Rose Memorial Park Cemetery, Hammond, Louisiana.
