Inez Lee Stanga, age 96 of Ponchatoula, Louisiana, passed away on Friday, May 17, 2019, at Belle Maison Nursing Home. She was born on Wednesday, December 27, 1922, in Tylertown, Mississippi, the daughter of the late Alex and Janie Morris Lee.

She was a founding member of the Bedico Baptist Church.

Inez is survived by her daughters & sons-in-law, Carolyn S. and Monty Hall, Linda S. and Ken Smith, and Michelle S. and Michael Perrin; sons & daughters-in-law, Shelby and Frances Stanga, Gary and Jean Stanga, and Brian and Deanna Stanga, grandchildren, Greg Stanga, Dudley Stanga, Melody Powell, Matthew Stanga, Rebecca White, Jacob White, and Brittani Stanga; and 12 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Elvin A. Stanga, and brothers, Jim Lee,  Wilmond Lee, and Wallace Lee.

Family and friends will be received at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Ponchatoula , 100 W. Magnolia St. Ponchatoula, Louisiana 70454, on Monday, May 20, 2019 from 9:00 am until 11:00 am.

Services will be held in the funeral home chapel in Ponchatoula, on Monday, beginning at 11:00 am.

Interment will follow at Stanga Cemetery in Ponchatoula, Louisiana.
