Janice Marie Compton , 75 years old of Ponchatoula, Louisiana, passed away Friday, September 15, 2017, at Landmark Nursing Center.
She was born on Sunday, December 7, 1941, in New Orleans.
Surviving are daughter, Gaylynne Compton, son & daughter-in-law, John and Carla Compton, son & daughter-in-law, David and Sheree Compton, son, Kevin Compton, sister and brother-in-law, Marilyn and Bill Enfield, grandchildren, Logan Compton, Skylar Compton, Reagan Snow (John), Austin Compton, Brandy Hueguet, Jasmyne Wilson, Cameron Compton, Amanda Guidry, Keith Compton, and Chasity Brown, also survived by 8 great-grandchildren,.
She is preceded in death by parents, Albert Paul Jochum and Frances Stritginger Jochum, sister, Lyndell Scott.
Friends will be received Sunday, September 17, 2017 from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home - Hammond .
Services will be held at Funeral Home Chapel -Sunday, at 3:00 pm.
Interment will be at Hope Mausoleum New Orleans, Louisiana, on Monday at 12:00p.m.
