Jerry Wayne Bryant passed away on Tuesday, December 12, 2017, in Hammond, Louisiana, at the age of 85. He was born on Wednesday, June 15, 1932 in McDonald, Missouri to the late Myrtle Timberlake Bryant and the late Scotty Bryant. He was a resident of Hammond, Louisiana.
Jerry is survived by his children, David "Coon" Bryant and his wife Michelle, Tracy Barringer and her husband Darren, and Crystal Lyons and her husband Robert; sister, Linda Sharp and her husband Jimmy; and grandchildren, Logan Barringer, Hanna Bryant, Jesse Barringer, Hayden Bryant, and Georgia Lyons.
He was preceded in death by his father, Scotty Bryant; mother, Myrtle Timberlake Bryant; sons, Jerry Allen Bryant; three brothers, Albert Bryant, Donald Bryant, and Jimmy Bryant; two sisters, Jean Sterling, and Barbara Jenkins.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, Ponchatoula, 100 W. Magnolia St., Ponchatoula, Louisiana 70454, on Saturday, December 16, 2017 beginning at 6:00 pm. A memorial service will take place at 7:00 pm and visitation will resume until 9:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made at Florida Parishes Bank to the Jerry W. Bryant Funeral Fund to help with the funeral expenses.
