Jonathon Eugene Knight, age 31 of Ponchatoula, Louisiana, passed away on Monday, January 28, 2019. He was born on June 7, 1987, in Independence, Louisiana, the son of the late Larry Ray Knight and the late Debra Jane McLeod Knight.
Jonathon is survived by his grandfather, Henry E. McLeod; siblings, Dee Dee Barnes (Ronnie), Daniel Knight, Christopher Knight (Lindsey), and Jacob Knight (Frannie Andrews); nieces and nephews, Caiden, Brooklyn, Noah, Cali, Brandon, Caitlin, Billy, James, Haley, Jessie, and Jaycee; and many other friends and family.
In addition to his parents, Jonathon was preceded in death by his grandmother, Elizabeth Jane McLeod, and grandparents, Jessie and Lois Knight.
Family and friends will be received at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, 2000 N. Morrison Blvd. Hammond, Louisiana 70401, on Thursday, February 14, 2019 from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm. Visitation will continue at the funeral home on Friday, February 15, 2019 from 12:30 pm until the funeral service begins at 2:30 pm, with Bro. Keith Payne officiating.
Interment will follow at Shiloh Church of Christ Cemetery in Amite, Louisiana.
