Josephine "Josie" Sasso Annina Domiano, 94 years old of Hammond, Louisiana, passed away on Monday, February 27, 2017, in Hammond, Louisiana. She was born on Monday, January 1, 1923, in Hammond, Louisiana to George and Mary (Leto) Sasso. Josie enjoyed life, and loved her Catholic faith, dancing, playing cards but she especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Josie is survived by her grandchildren, Ashley Morse and her husband Louis, Courtney Annina, Clint Annina and his wife Pamela, Sharon Delaune, Jeffrey Delaune, Tommy Delaune, Anne Marie Delaune and T.J. Annina, 5 great grandchildren, her sisters, Phyillis Zalazinski and Clara Gennardo and her brother, Frank Sasso, also many nieces, nephews and close friends.
Josie is preceded in death by her parents, George and Mary (Leto) Sasso, her 1st husband, Anthony Annina, her 2nd husband, Nick Domiano, her sons, Vincent J. Annina and Lenny Annina, her daughter, Elizabeth Delaune, her grandson, Travis Annina and 4 brothers and 5 sisters.
A Visitation for Josie will be held on Friday, March 3, 2017 from 9:00 am until 11:00 am at Holy Ghost Catholic Church in Hammond. A Funeral Mass Celebrating Josie's life will immediately follow visitation at 11:00am in the church. Interment will follow at Rose Memorial Park Cemetery in Hammond.
