Mrs. Joyce "Nanny" Lagarde Binet, 88 years old of Ponchatoula, Louisiana, passed away on Wednesday, November 8, 2017, at North Oaks Medical Center.
She was born on Wednesday, May 15, 1929, daughter of the late George Albert and Elmira Krey Lagarde.
Mrs. Binet was a native of New Orleans and former resident of Bay St. Louis, Mississippi.
She was a retired Supervisor for Blue Cross of Louisiana.
Surviving are her brother, Dennis M. Lagarde; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Edward Morgan Binet, Jr., and brother, Lt Col George Albert Lagarde.
Friends will be received on Saturday, November 11, 2017 from 9:00 am until 11:00 am at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Ponchatoula.
Services will be held on Saturday, November 11, 2017 at 11:00 am, with Deacon Nat Garofalo officiating.
Interment will follow in the Biloxi National Cemetery in Biloxi, Mississippi at a later date.
