Kenneth "Kenny" A. Stierwald , a resident of Hammond, LA, passed away Saturday, September 17, 2016, at the age of 65. He was born on September 5, 1951 in New Orleans, LA. He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Gwen Michel Stierwald; daughter, Tabitha Ann Rushing and husband, Dean; grandchildren, Maryia and Josh Smith, Nakota and Quinn Fortner, Alyssa Rushing, Tyler Rushing, Landen Rushing, and Tayler Ann Rushing; two great-children, Liam and Caroline Smith; and one sister, Jill Marie Stierwald. He is preceded in death by his parents, Raymond Ernest and Joy Olive Esler Stierwald and god-mother, Josephine "Bootsie" Smith. Friends will be received Thursday, September 22, 2016 from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, 200 N. Morrison Blvd., Hammond, LA., with a memorial service at 7:00pm. .
