Mr. Kenneth L. Dupont Sr., 72 years old of Ponchatoula, Louisiana, passed away on Thursday, March 2, 2017, at North Oaks Medical Center.
He was born on Saturday, January 20, 1945, in Ponchatoula, son of the late Delmas and Thelma Lee Mixon Dupont.
He was retired owner of Dupont Farms.
Surviving are son, Kenneth L. Dupont Jr., son & daughter-in-law, Glenn Dale and Kellie Drude Bridges, 6 grandchildren, Ashlyn and Brody Bridges, Megan, Morgan, Malorie, and Brianna Nolan Dupont, sisters and brothers-in-law, JoAnne and Vincent Baiamonte, Charlene and Ronald Miller, Cheryl Dupont, brothers & sisters-in-law, J.V. and Anna Dupont, Wayne and Dianne Dupont, Donald and Vickie Dupont, Garyel Dupont, and Mike and Allison Dupont.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Fitzmorris Dupont, and daughter, April Dupont Strahan.
Friends will be received on Saturday, March 4, 2017 from 8:00 am until 11:00 am at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Ponchatoula.
Services will be held in the funeral home chapel in Ponchatoula, on Saturday at 11:00 am.
Interment will follow in the Bruhl Cemetery Folsom, Louisiana.
