Laura Lei Lauck Bodin passed away on Thursday, August 3, 2017, at her residence in Hammond, LA, at the age of 64. She was born on Sunday, September 28, 1952 in New Orleans, Louisiana to the late Horace Eric Lauck and Elizabeth "Betsy" Odendahl Lauck.
Laura Lei is survived by her husband, William Joseph "Bill" Bodin, Jr.; daughter, Danielle Elizabeth Bodin; son, Max Joseph Bodin; stepson, William Bodin, III.; brother, Eric Lauck; sisters, Linda Martin and Leslie Lauck; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Elizabeth "Betsy" and Horace E. Lauck; and sister, Lisa L. White.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Service in the chapel of Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, 2000 N. Morrison Blvd, Hammond, Louisiana 70401, on Monday, August 7, 2017 at 7:00 pm. Visitation will begin at 6:00 pm and continue until the service time of 7:00 pm.
