Linda Barnett Rosata, 72 years old of Ponchatoula, Louisiana, passed away suddenly at her home on Saturday, June 9, 2018. She was born on Saturday, June 16, 1945, in New Orleans, Louisiana to Elmer and Ida "Pauline" Scott Barnett. Linda enjoyed life and loved gardening, cooking, going to the casino's and ironing, but she especially loved spending time with her family. 

Linda is survived by her daughters, Nancy ( Jeff Streeter) Barnett and Brenda Barnett Moore and her husband Richard, her step-sons, David and Kelvin Rosata, her grandchildren, Kelly Rosata, Brittany Rigsby and her husband Jay, Corey Hughes and his wife Meghan, Kortny Hughes and her husband Roy Marino, LaDonna Blount and her husband Mark and Allen Bigner Landry and his husband Adam, her sisters, Margie Pitts, Dale Hutchinson, Patricia Wallace and Lydia Holland and her brother, Steve Barnett, Sr., also many nieces, nephews and close friends. 

Linda is preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Ida "Pauline" Scott Barnett, her husband, Kelly Rosata, Sr., her son, Kelly Rosata, Jr., her grandson, Donald Bigner, Jr., her brothers, Bill, Carl and Darrell Barnett, her sisters, Peggy Hollingsworth and Shirley Fletcher.

 A Visitation for Linda will be held on Friday, June 15, 2018 from 10:00 am until 1:00 pm at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Ponchatoula. A Funeral Service Celebrating Linda's Life will immediately follow visitation at 1:00pm in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Gatlin Cemetery in Hammond.
