Mrs. Linda Slade Ball peacefully passed away at her home on Saturday, September 9, 2017 at the age of 73.
She is immediately survived by her husband Richard Ball Sr, her children Susan Salinas (Don 'Chopper'), Jonathan Ball, Carl 'Bubba' (Stacy) Ball and Michael Ball. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, two great grandchildren, brothers Charles 'Butch' and Carl Slade, sisters Irma Easley, Gerri Ann Stout, Letha Lois Corbin and many, many nieces and nephews. Additionally, she is survived by her pet and constant companion, Baby Girl. She is preceded in death by her parents Luther C. Slade and Irma Black Slade, brothers Ronald, David, James and Leo Slade and sisters Bobbie Jean Slade and Helen Williams.
Per her request, she will be cremated by Harry McKneely and Sons and a grave side service will be held at the Tangipahoa Cemetery in Tangipahoa, LA on Saturday, September 16 at 10:00 am, where her cremains will be placed in her family plot. Brother Butch Slade will preside over the service. All friends and family are welcome and encouraged to attend.
Tangipahoa Cemetery is exit 57 off I-55, turn right (east) and the cemetery is immediately to your left.
