Louis Kenner Bizot Sr., of Hammond, Louisiana, passed away on Monday, September 3, 2018, at Landmark of Hammond at the age of 90. He was born on November 9, 1927, in New Orleans, Louisiana, the son of the late John H. Bizot and the late Elenora Kenner Bizot. Louis was a Merchant Marine during WWII.

Louis is survived by his beloved wife of 31 years, Dorothy Harrison Bizot; children, Louis K. Bizot, Jr. (Sandra) of Metairie, Louisiana, Stanley F. Bizot (Gennie) of Brentwood, Tennessee, and Diane Bizot Dauzat (Richard) of Metairie, Louisiana; step sons, Robert Fruge of Metairie, Louisiana, Steven Fruge (Michelle) of Metairie, Louisiana, David Fruge (Jennifer) of Shalimar, Florida, and Donald Fruge of Providence, Rhode Island; as well as, 6 grandchildren, 2 step grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Louis was preceded in death by his first wife, Bernadette Crochet Bizot, and his sister Joyce Edwards.

Relatives and friends will be received on Saturday, September 8, 2018, from 12:00 pm until the Funeral Service begins at 2:00 pm, at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, 2000 N. Morrison Blvd. Hammond, Louisiana 70401.

Interment will follow at Parklawn Memorial Gardens in Hammond, Louisiana.
