Maria was a tremendous motivator and inspiration for the whole family.  She mentored her siblings through their schooling while studying and working in the BIR Auditing Unit in Manila.  As a big proponent of education, she achieved a Law Degree from the University of Santo Thomas of Manila Philippines. In the 1970's, she moved to the Bronx, New York where she worked as a teacher at St. Pius V High School and held an administrative position at the Lucille Murray Child Development Center. In 1980, when she married the love of her life, James Robinson, and moved to Ponchatoula, La.  Maria left her city life and embraced her new community. She loved art, gardening  and traveling. As a devoted Catholic, she served as active member of her parish, St. Joseph in Ponchatoula.  Maria, also known as "Tarcy" was very passionate about her family.  She cared for them and provide for them, the best she knew how. Her presence will be truly missed by her relatives and friends. Eternal rest grant unto her. Amen.
