Marie Costanza Ridder Zaffuto , of Independence, Louisiana, passed away at Home, on Sunday, September 13, 2020, at the age of 89. She was born on Wednesday, July 22, 1931, in Hammond Louisiana.
The family would like to extend a very special thanks to Elaine Abron Warren, for the loving care she extended to Marie, and the whole family. They would also like to thank her granddaughter-in-law, Amanda Bankston Sherman for the many blessings she brought to the family through her diligent care.
Marie is survived by her daughter, Linda Ridder Sherman, son & daughter-in-law, Phillip (David) Ridder and Lydia Ridder, son, Danny S. Ridder, sister and brother-in-law, Joann Costanza Roussel and Robert Roussel, grandchildren and their spouses, Harry B. Sherman and Amanda Bankston Sherman, Millie Sherman Bankston and Wyman E. Bankston, David M. Ridder and Amanda L. Ridder, Brenton Ridder, Marie D. Ridder, Renata Pennino, Carleen Pennino, Daniel Ridder, Justin and Meaghan Ridder, and Brooke Ridder, great-grandchildren, Zachary, Austin, Atley, Michael Paul, Olivia, Ray, Ryan, Reann, Wyatt, Waylon, Annaleigh, and Adalyn.
She was preceded in death by husband, Marion Zaffuto, first husband, Rusty Ridder, parents, Joseph Costanza and Mary Cali Costanza, son-in-law Harry B. Sherman, Sr., siblings, Katie Bonura, Frank Costanza and Lou Accardo, also an infant sister.
Family and friends will be received at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home - Hammond , 2000 N. Morrison Blvd, Hammond, Louisiana 70401 on Saturday, September 19, 2020 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm.
A Funeral Service will be held at Funeral Home Chapel - Hammond, 2000 N. Morrison Blvd., Hammond, Louisiana on Saturday at 1:00 pm.
Interment will follow at Rose Memorial Park Cemetery in Hammond, Louisiana.
