Marion Carroll Stilley, 82 years old of Loranger, Louisiana, passed away on Saturday, November 3, 2018, at Landmark Nursing Home in Hammond, LA. He was born on Wednesday, January 15, 1936, in New Orleans, LA. Mr. Stilley was a dairy farmer, an educator, and a charter member of Loranger Baptist Church. However, his greatest joy was being a dad and grandparent. Mr. Stilley is survived by his son, Kevin Ray Stilley of Loranger; daughter, Michelle Diane Stilley of Amite; one brother, Deneral Shelton “Scooter” Stilley of Loranger; granddaughter, Emma Grace Stilley, and her mother Julie Stilley, as well as many nieces and nephews. Mr. Stilley was preceded in death by his wife, Jeanne Annette "Jeannette" Faunce Stilley, and parents, Myrtle Baham Stilley and Deneral Stilley. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service in the chapel of Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, 2000 North Morrison Boulevard, Hammond, LA 70401 on Thursday, November 8, 2018, at 11:00 am. Visitation will be held from 9:00 am until service time with Brother James Moore officiating. Interment will follow in the Loranger Community Cemetery, Loranger, Louisiana.
