Mary Alice (Sampson) Wille, age 77 of Folsom Louisiana passed away on September 9, 2020. She was born in Arcadia, IA to LeRoy and Edna (Thies) Sampson. Mary was the fifth of eleven children and graduated from Walnut High School in 1962.
She was united in marriage to Thomas Willie on May 13, 1963 and to that union two children were born, Tina and Ronnie Wille.
Mary spent most of her life in Folsom, LA where she held various jobs. She especially loved her time playing slots and watching New Orleans Saints football. She did not know a stranger; her door was always open and she was happy to fix anyone a meal. She was well known for her greetings of “Hi Baby” or “Love Ya Baby”. Her heart was full and it overflowed to all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her husband Thomas; her son Ronnie; Parents LeRoy and Edna; Brothers Robert, Walter, James (Aug); sister-in-law Darlene Sampson.
She is survived by her daughter Tina Wille; Granddaughters Nicki Davis, Ashley Davis and Whitley Davis. 5 Great grandchildren; Siblings: David (Carol) Sampson, John (Kay) Sampson, Arnie (Carol) Sampson, Wayne Sampson, Susan Libby, Martha (Randy) Hargens, Joseph (Margaret) Sampson, Sister-in-law Barb Sampson, Many Nieces and Nephews; Best Friend Carla Tyson and the many friends who loved her.
A Celebration of Life for Mary will be held at Our Savior Lutheran Church, 903 Antique City Drive, Walnut, Iowa 51577 on Saturday, September 19, 2020 at 2:00 pm.
