Mary Ann Marten Caples, 78 years old of Hammond, Louisiana, passed away on Monday, August 13, 2018, at Oak Park Village in Hammond. She was born on Friday, February 9, 1940, in Hammond, Louisiana to Sam and Annie Matise Marten. Mary enjoyed life and loved spending time with her family.
Mary is survived by her sisters, Frances Magee, Chris Bryant and Anne Morello, also many nieces, nephews and close friends.
Mary is preceded in death by her parents, Sam and Annie Matise Marten, her husband, Ronald Caples, her sister, Paula Cutrer and her brother, Frank Marten.
A Visitation for Mary will be held on Friday, August 17, 2018 from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Hammond. A Funeral Service Celebrating Mary's Life will immediately follow visitation at 12:00pm in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery Mausoleum in Hammond.
